The early learning difference

At Kindalin, we take a holistic approach to early education. Every step of the learning journey is important, and we strive to help children grow and learn through play and exploration, and by interacting with their peers and the adults around them.

We provide an open learning environment that encourages active, investigative learning for preschool children across our five key learning areas - literacy, social studies, the arts, maths and scientific thinking.

Transition program for
school readiness!

Our exclusive Transition Program helps prepare final year preschoolers for that next step – primary school.

The Transition Program bridges the gap by engaging and challenging four to five year old children while helping them become more confident and independent in a social learning environment.

A daily routine that’s both
structured and flexible

A day at Kindalin is full of new and exciting things, but it also follows a predictable structure so that your child can feel comfortable knowing what to expect next.

The day includes a combination of active and quiet times, opportunities for group and independent learning, adult supported and child initiated exploration, with time spent both in and outdoors.

Meal times, hand washing, toileting and a rest period are also important parts of the daily routine.

Learning stations engage their
creativity and independence

Equipped with fun tools to spark imaginations, our learning stations are set up for children of all ages to create, learn and discover.

Our reading, art, writing, construction and music hubs put the learning in their own hands, helping to develop their initiative and independent skills.

Children’s portfolios
keep track of their learning

Every child at Kindalin has an individual portfolio that documents his or her learning and development. Throughout the year, we collect things like work samples, anecdotes and photographs, so you can see how far they’ve come.

We encourage families to contribute to their child’s portfolio, providing a link between the home and centre environment by sharing information about the child and family’s experiences.
