I have three children, who are 9, 7 and 1. My 9 and 7-year-olds attended Kindalin from Possums through to Wombats, only leaving when it was time for School. When it came time to return to work after having my third child, she was just 4 months old. Being so young, I was worried about starting her in daycare. Kindalin is the only daycare I felt safe sending my young baby, because I knew the quality of care was exceptional, and that she would be safe and nurtured. Let me take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all the Kindalin Cherrybrook teachers, who have contributed to my son’s growth and curiosity for learning.

My son JayJay attends Kindalin Cherrybrook Center on Monday to Wednesday, in the Wombats Room.

I attended the Coffee Night arranged by Cherrybrook Center. Sincerely speaking, I’m deeply touched. I’m writing to share my experience with Kindalin Cherrybrook Center teachers and express my sincere gratitude to them for helping my son growing up.

JayJay joined Kindalin in early 2019, when he was around 2 years old. At that time, he was first attending Cherrybrook Shops Center with Miss Rainbow, who took care of him since the Possums Room. Miss Rainbow is a wonderful teacher, she loves children from her heart and has the patience, enthusiasm, and passion to find each kid’s character and guide them to grow in a suitable way. So when Miss Rainbow transferred to Kindalin Cherrybrook Center, we contacted Cherrybrook Center’s director, Miss Meena, for help.

Miss Meena is so kind and thoughtful, she helped JayJay to transfer from Kindalin Cherrybrook Shops to Kindalin Cherrybrook at the earliest time and helped him settle well. JayJay has been at Cherrybrook for over one year. As JayJay’s mum,  I must say that JayJay is never an easy-going kid. He has strong ideas and is not easily guided. But Cherrybrook’s teachers help him so much. Miss Rainbow would listen to JayJay’s thoughts, ideas and feelings. When JayJay does something silly, she always asks the reason and guides JayJay to share his thoughts, to speak out his feelings, instead of just admitting his faults. And I must also thank Miss Meena. As a successful Center Director, Miss Meena always encourages kids in a very positive way. She encourages JayJay to be confident, even though he can’t speak English well. We are so lucky to have Miss Rainbow, Miss Meena, Miss Catherine and other teachers as JayJay’s early-childhood education teachers, they are such an important part of my son’s life.

So please, let me take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all the Kindalin Cherrybrook teachers (especially Miss Rainbow and Miss Meena) who have contributed to my son’s growth and curiosity for learning. Thank you again for caring, teaching, helping and loving JayJay. JayJay also loves his teachers.

Thanks to Kindalin Kellyville Elijah is more than ready for Kindy next year.

Elijah has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Kindalin. He started in the Emus room with Miss Michelle and graduated this year from the Wombats with Miss Ali. It has been so exciting watching him grow, develop friendships, mature and discover his likes and dislikes. He struggled with speech when he started at Kindalin and now we can hardly keep him quiet. His numeracy and literacy skills have developed and he is now a confident, outgoing 5-year-old, who is ready and very excited to begin the school journey next year.

I didn’t realise the importance of daycare in preparing children for school until I saw the positive changes in Elijah. I appreciate and am very thankful for the ongoing nurturing and support that Elijah has been given during his time at Kindalin.

A special thank you to Miss Ali for seeing Elijah through Wombats.

It has been an exciting journey and Elijah is going to miss Kindalin. Thanks to Kindalin Kellyville, Elijah is more than ready for Kindy next year.

I wanted to say a huge thank you for the most amazing 10 years with Kindalin across 4 children and 2 centres. We haven’t met in all the years my 4 kids have gone through Kindalin but I had my last bubba finish at Kindalin West Pennant Hills today and cannot thank you enough for the years of the most wonderful staff and the most amazing memories we could ever wish for. My older 2 children Zakir & Milly went to Kindalin Glenhaven almost 10 years ago (when I couldn’t decide on a daycare and then I met Jasmin who took my newborn Milly out of my arms and wouldn’t let her go 🤣, I knew then this was the daycare for us!!!!!) and Max & Matilda have both gone through Kindalin West Pennant Hills and lives every minute. Your educators are the best and they have taught my children everything from making friends, singing every song over and over again by the music man, making toilet training the easiest job ever for us, writing their names and counting, helping my son Max with his speech problems, and soooooooo many more. There was many tears from me today for the end of an era of daycare but wow was it a great experience every step of the way because of your incredible staff.

So thank you for all the memories that my family will never forget at Kindalin.

I just wanted to say thank you. It is so great that you put on these fantastic events.

Just wanted to let you know that I went to the Louise Porter talk last night with my husband Andrew. We both really enjoyed it and it was great to go and see her from a parent perspective. It was a full house and there were quite a few Castle Hill parents there too which was nice.

She is a fantastic speaker and you really walk away with a lot to think about. One of the parents dropped off today and their daughter usually cries when they are leaving and today she didn’t cry at all. Louise’s magic is working already!

The centre looked great as always and it was so nice to see all the happy familiar faces. Andrew was very impressed!

Parent Seminar Feedback, Castle Hill

Tommy loves attending Kindalin, in fact, it can be hard to get him to leave in the afternoon. This reassures me that we have chosen the best Early Learning Centre for our boys.

Tommy has been attending Kindalin since he was 6.5 months and for the last two months has been in the Emu’s Room. During this time he has developed a strong bond with Miss Malissa. I have been extremely impressed with Malissa’s professionalism, care and willingness to work collaboratively with both Luke and I. Malissa has encouraged Tommy to develop his independence and self agency whilst also helping him to learn to interact positively, through care and respect with his peers and educators.

Malissa has continued to engage Tommy with his learning by creating inquiry based play opportunities focussed on his individual interests. Tommy loves attending Kindalin, in fact, it can be hard to get him to leave in the afternoon. This reassures me that we have chosen the best Early Learning Centre for our boys. In addition to Malissa, the whole team at Glenhaven have been amazing for both Matty and Tommy. I often find myself recommending Kindalin to my friends, colleagues and family, a number of whom have now enrolled their children.

Finally, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your strong leadership in 2017. There has been a number of fantastic improvements and developments this year at Glenhaven and no doubt, this has been a result of your influence and foresight. I have also appreciated your efficiency, experience and willingness to collaborate with families.

We have seen such a big change in Summer over the past few months and its all thanks to the amazing job the Kindalin team does.

We can’t say ‘Thank you’ enough to Miss Lauren and the rest of the educators in the Possum room. We have seen such a big change in Summer over the past few months and its all thanks to the amazing job the Kindalin team does. When we moved Summer to Kindalin from her previous centre, we saw such an improvement with her in the first week. She was happy to be dropped off in the mornings, and she was bright and bubbly when we picked her up in the evenings, full of imagination and new experiences. We knew straight away that we made the right decision in moving her, and its definitely due to the love and attention she gets while at the centre.

Even the other day when we were called and told Summer had developed a fever, we didn’t feel panicked because we knew she was in good hands and well taken care of. Thanks again to Miss Lauren and the rest of the team in the Playful Possums Room.

You have truly helped shape Talia and our now 8 year old daughter Chloe into the most wonderful little humans.

I just wanted to stop and take an emotional minute to write and send the warmest of thanks to the beautiful team at Kindalin in Frenchs Forest. After 7+ years our time as part of the Kindalin family is coming to an end, with our youngest daughter Talia starting school in 2018.

The centre has provided such warmth to my daughters and the staff have been so nurturing and encouraging over the years, not to mention so much fun! My girls were always super excited to go to Kindalin each day and I had such peace of mind knowing they were happy and in a safe and caring environment whilst I was at work.

To Ashlee, Kelly and all the teachers – you have been such a huge part of our lives (our girls started at Kindalin prior to turning one!) and you have truly helped shape Talia and our now 8 year old daughter Chloe into the most wonderful little humans.

Thank you for all that you do! Thank you for the countless nappy changes and helping with toilet training, thank you for all the wonderful concert and events including Mother’s Day and Father’s Day concerts, the Christmas parties and the graduation ceremony before starting school, thank you for teaching them creative arts and all the messy painting we never like doing at home(!), thank you for encouraging imaginary play, thank you for sharing the importance and love of books, thank you for guiding them to become ready for the transition to big school!

Kindalin Frenchs Forest has provided our two children with an exceptional level of care during the past eight years.  The genuine warmth, love and interest in the children provided by the educators reflects the strong, positive culture of the Kindalin organisation. Our entire family, siblings, parents and grandparents, have felt welcome at Kindalin to join in special celebrations and milestones over the years, and have always been greeted and farewelled at the centre by happy smiles of all staff – regardless of which room they have attended.

The centre itself is always immaculately clean with a wide variety of activities, areas and resources all of a high quality.  The wombats room is an amazing space that has been custom built to inspire endless hours of creative play and we are always regaled with happy stories at the end of every day by a very contented child. The centre is unique in that the outside play areas are all-weather so rainy days don’t have to be boring days.

Our eldest child was so well prepared for success at school thanks to the pre-school program and we are confident that our youngest will also transition easily thanks to Kindalin’s robust curriculum, which has provided countless opportunities for individual development and encouraged curiosity, creativity and a growth mindset – skills they will take with them and use for life.

Our girls have always felt special and recognised for their individual interests, and as we prepare to move to school it is with genuine sadness that we say goodbye. We can confidently recommend Kindalin to any parent (and have done so many times) as a wonderful place to see any child grow and learn.

Kindalin Frenchs Forest is absolutely the best!

Kindalin Frenchs Forest is absolutely the best! We’ve had both our darlings with them from about 7 and 9 months old and from day one the staff have made us feel so loved, supported and caring of Archie and Lulu. It’s always going to be hard leaving them but Ashlee and her team make it just a little easier at drop off. This year I would like to especially mention the teachers in the Wombats room! Within the last half of the year we have seen an immense change in Xaviens attitude towards his learning experience and have full confidence that his transition to Kindy will be embraced with resilience!

Miss Jayden & Miss Rupum are usually the topic of discussion at our dinner table with many insightful and fun experiences to reflect back upon! Miss Rachael – where do I start!!! One of the most astounding carer/teacher I have come across in my lifetime of education! Miss Rachael’s passion and commitment to make a difference in every child’s day blows me away!! Her love for litterateur is evident and transpires to the children in many different ways! A phrase to describe her would be “a ray of sunshine”. I would also like to thank  Miss Brook, Miss Nicky, Miss Fenny & Miss Katie who have all played an integral part on Xavies learning experience over the last two years. Finally to your wonderful cook Miss Karen, your commitment to providing healthy, nutritious meals has been one of the highlights of my boys experience at Kindalin. I have two daughters in different rooms at Kindalin Frenchs Forest & every morning I drop off, my daughters and I are welcomed with a big warm smile! I have so much confidence in the care provided by the whole team. My eldest daughter is always so excited to go to into care for the day & eager to come home and tell us about her fun filled day. The cleanliness standard are exceptional and the constant communication via the app or emails is exactly what two parents who work full time need.

We couldn’t have asked for a better centre or more caring, creative and responsible teachers.

We’d like to take this opportunity to commend you on the Wombats graduation. Ben attended with George’s sister and grandmother. He was incredibly impressed at the effort you and your staff put into the event, as well as the preparation of the children. The hall was an ideal venue, the length well-considered and the events perfectly pitched to make it fun for kids and parents. Ben commented that the songs were well chosen and it was lovely to see the kids have a chance to express themselves individually. George has been wearing his firetruck nonstop for over a week now!

George was very proud at receiving his certificate and all of us have enjoyed reading the graduation book. That must have taken you a lot of time and effort. Please know it is well-appreciated, although it made both Ben and I a little teary!

As we near the end of our Kindalin experience, we continue to feel very blessed that George has had such excellent care from day one. We couldn’t have asked for a better centre or more caring, creative and responsible teachers. As working parents we sometimes feel like we are out-sourcing important aspects of child-rearing, and while this is heartbreaking, I am also very grateful for all that you have done for George. Thank you to all the staff for always making the time to chat with us, the best proof that our beautiful boy is liked, understood and valued.

As way of a Christmas gift, George decided to choose some plants for each teacher which he will bring in this week. Each teacher may like to take one home or if preferred, add it to the Kindalin garden. They are succulents and are relatively hardy so no need to be a green thumb!

Coming from a completely different centre, it is so heart warming to see the huge difference provided at Kindalin and my only regret is I didn't enrol Ella earlier.

As AF‘s final year approaches the end I have had some time to reflect on our experience at the centre. I cannot commend the team highly enough. From the very beginning I felt supported in my role as a nervous first time Mum. I was allowed to progress forward with AF at a pace that was comfortable for me. I always received individual feedback about my child and how his day went.

AF‘s special needs were identified early on and with support and guidance from AF‘s teachers and other professionals I have seen how much of a positive difference early intervention can make. I am absolutely amazed at how this years Wombats team have helped my child to grow and overcome his difficulties. We now feel ready to take on the next challenge of school!

I have also noticed the remarkable warmth and affection thatAF‘s teachers have for him, and all the children in his group. There is a deep and genuine bond of love and trust between children and educators, and this in turn has led me to develop a great attachment to the team too! I never have to worry that my child is not being heard, or his needs are not being met.

AF and all his family will miss all of his educators. We are lucky to have had such fantastic people in our lives at such a crucial time.

David and I were very pleased to be able to hear about everything that is happening in the Emus room this year and the way the staffing works. We are really happy with all of Phoebe’s teachers and the wonderful care that is so evident through the presentations (and through what we see each day at the kindy) that were given by you for last night. Hi, I just wanted to write an email to say thank you for the wonderful care that Kindalin provides for my son. He attends the Kellyville Ridge centre and my daughter was also there from the time it opened in 2009 till the time she started primary school in 2014. The staff are always so friendly and happy and they provide the best learning environment and activities that allow the children to develop and grow at their own individual pace. The ‘Preschool Program’ that the centre offers, is great and I know, that as a primary school teacher myself, my son is being well prepared for his journey into primary school next year.

Hi Miss Alison. Policies are great but that is not why I am writing. I went to the evening at Kellyville Ridge tonight where Mandy Flacknoe spoke. It was very good. She spoke very informatively and had some great ideas to stimulate ways to expand children in the area of literacy. I want to thank you for organising this and encourage you to keep providing such gatherings in the future. While on the subject of literacy I want to share with you the story time I had with Xavier the other night. He likes to choose the stories we read at bed time and he wanted to read Possum Magic. Xavier “read” this to me in a most enjoyable way. He retold it almost word perfect. He knew what the story was on each page and was able to remember the language that Mem Fox had used. His love for that story shone through and his enthusiasm for it was delightful to experience. At the end he was full of excitement as he said over and over again that he can ‘read’. Please let all your staff and especially those educators in the Wombats room know that I am so thankful and appreciative for the way they care for Xavier and in particular for the accomplishments I see Xavier achieving. I am woken each day with "Mummy, is it kindy today?"

I am woken each day with “Mummy, is it Kindy today?”, and to me that speaks volumes about the quality of care at Kindalin. My daughter knows every staff member, and they each have a smile, or even a cuddle as well, at the ready for her. The staff know her well, even though she attends only a small number of days each week, and they enjoy sharing her latest adventures with me. The staff are also very receptive if I have a concern about her development, or just a chat about her general well-being. My daughter always has something exciting to show me, something she’s made to take home, or proudly displayed on the walls. And she talks almost without drawing breath, telling me all that she did at Kindy, and also sings me her new favourite song. But her most favourite thing to bring home is her Portfolio, a beautifully displayed and lovingly put together record of her progress at Kindalin. And it is something I will always treasure. I cannot speak highly enough of Kindalin; the caring staff, the engaging programs, and the warm environment. Thanks again so much for all everyone did for Hannah while she was at Kindy. She still asks after you. I tried telling her she didn’t go now because she was a big girl, but “I AM a big girl! I’m in the Wombats room! With Miss Meagan!

It was mentioned you would like some feedback on how we found your Transition to School Program in preparing Amelia for school this year. In a word – wonderful. Amelia has always been a shy girl, but particularly since she moved up to the Wombats room she gained more confidence every day. Yes, she learnt to write her name, recognise letters, count etc, but it was the social and confidence factor I believe where she gained the most benefit. All kids will learn to read when they start school and she’s well on her way, but the maturity she has shown since starting school is amazing. Much of that we put down to her experience at Kindalin. We hear a lot about parents holding back their kids, and Amelia being a Feb child could have been in that category. Many of her birthday invites are to 6yo parties which I was surprised by as I expected that age group a few months later. With Amelia there was no way we could have held her back for a year, it was obvious seeing her spend a few weeks at Kindalin early in the year. She seemed so school ready and although she might need to catch up on a few things compared to her older peers, we’re not concerned.We would like to thank you and all the educators for the wonderful care and school preparation you provided. And I know James is in excellent hands for the next 2 years before he starts school, he too is maturing socially and learning so much more than I expected.

We are both grateful that you have taken action so quickly in putting measures in place so that Aiden is well looked after when he attends the centre. The many details that you and your staff have gone into such as the rice play dough, cooking his meals separately, replacing the fabric couches and keeping him away from soft toys has gone beyond our expectations. We were anxious on how he would cope at day care however, with these measures being put into place we feel constantly reassured that our precious little boy is in the hands of carers who understand his condition and are doing their best for him.

I just wanted to send you this note to let you know how pleased we have been with Kindalin. As you know, we have had experience with other daycare centres, and the difference was just phenomenal. The staff and children at Kindalin are genuinely happy and there are smiling faces all around, whether it be at drop off or pick up time or any time during the day! I love that the staff warmly welcome all the children, and the children (especially mine) are excited to arrive at the centre and enjoy what the day brings (and often reluctant to go home). You can tell that Kindalin is a great place to work and the staff are happy to be there too. Last year I came across an article about daycare in a local magazine and the title of the article was “To Care or not to care” it was a mother’s perspective on sending her child to daycare when she returned to work and basically it was about the guilt she felt sending her child to daycare due to the necessity to return to work. I was disappointed that the writer believed that sending a child to daycare was “not to care”. I’m sure parents who have seen the Kindalin environment would agree that it is a very positive experience for them, and actually more beneficial than being out of daycare completely. As you know, I speak very highly of Kindalin to all my family and friends, and I’m so glad that my children have had the opportunity to attend your centre.

The staff and children at Kindalin are genuinely happy and there are smiling faces all around, whether it be at drop off or pick up time or any time during the day! I love that the staff warmly welcome all the children, and the children (especially mine) are excited to arrive at the centre and enjoy what the day brings (and often reluctant to go home). You can tell that Kindalin is a great place to work and the staff are happy to be there too. Last year I came across an article about daycare in a local magazine and the title of the article was “To Care or not to care” it was a mother’s perspective on sending her child to daycare when she returned to work and basically it was about the guilt she felt sending her child to daycare due to the necessity to return to work. I was disappointed that the writer believed that sending a child to daycare was “not to care”. I’m sure parents who have seen the Kindalin environment would agree that it is a very positive experience for them, and actually more beneficial than being out of daycare completely. As you know, I speak very highly of Kindalin to all my family and friends, and I’m so glad that my children have had the opportunity to attend your centre.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Kindalin for creating a first-class learning environment for my children! Two years of the best out-of-home care any parent could ask for! This year I would like to especially mention the teachers in the Wombats room! Within the last half of the year we have seen an immense change in Xaviens attitude towards his learning experience and have full confidence that his transition to Kindy will be embraced with resilience!

Miss Jayden & Miss Rupum are usually the topic of discussion at our dinner table with many insightful and fun experiences to reflect back upon! Miss Rachael – where do I start!!! One of the most astounding carer/teacher I have come across in my lifetime of education! Miss Rachael’s passion and commitment to make a difference in every child’s day blows me away!! Her love for litterateur is evident and transpires to the children in many different ways! A phrase to describe her would be “a ray of sunshine”. I would also like to thank  Miss Brook, Miss Nicky, Miss Fenny & Miss Katie who have all played an integral part on Xavies learning experience over the last two years. Finally to your wonderful cook Miss Karen, your commitment to providing healthy, nutritious meals has been one of the highlights of my boys experience at Kindalin. The carers were always very friendly and helpful to us as parents and the admin staff were very knowledgeable and patient with us about the convoluted CCS process.

Kindalin Castle Hill was extremely welcoming to our 4 year old, who had changed over from a daycare centre he had been with for 2 years. From the first day he told us that he likes his new school and he was excited to go in the mornings. It is always difficult to leave our children in the care of others but having friendly and kind carers that the child likes, makes it that much easier.

The carers were always very friendly and helpful to us as parents and the admin staff were very knowledgeable and patient with us about the convoluted CCS process. The Kindalin app and Smartfees system are brilliant. Parents get daily updates and pictures via the app.

During our brief time with Kindalin, they celebrated a few cultural events and again the parents were informed digitally and via flyers about these events.

Their Open Day is a great opportunity to visit the entire centre and to get to know the staff. They were also accommodating enough to do a private tour for us before we started.

We would recommend Kindalin Castle Hill to anyone and are only sorry that we have to leave due to distance from our home

Just wanted to let you know that I went to the Louise Porter talk last night with my husband Andrew. We both really enjoyed it and it was great to go and see her from a parent perspective. It was a full house and there were quite a few Castle Hill parents there too which was nice.

She is a fantastic speaker and you really walk away with a lot to think about. One of the parents dropped off today and their daughter usually cries when they are leaving and today she didn’t cry at all. Louise’s magic is working already!

The centre looked great as always and it was so nice to see all the happy familiar faces. Andrew was very impressed!

The staff at Kindalin Cherrybrook were AMAZING; always welcoming, friendly, supportive and a constant source of useful information. The centre’s programs were full of engaging and meaningful learning activities and the staff were only too willing to adapt the program to suit the needs and interests of the children. Being a parent can be difficult at times, but to have access to such positive support from a centre that truly wants to partner with you and your family has been a wonderful experience. We’d like to take this opportunity to commend you on the Wombats graduation. Ben attended with George’s sister and grandmother. He was incredibly impressed at the effort you and your staff put into the event, as well as the preparation of the children. The hall was an ideal venue, the length well-considered and the events perfectly pitched to make it fun for kids and parents. Ben commented that the songs were well chosen and it was lovely to see the kids have a chance to express themselves individually. George has been wearing his firetruck nonstop for over a week now!

George was very proud at receiving his certificate and all of us have enjoyed reading the graduation book. That must have taken you a lot of time and effort. Please know it is well-appreciated, although it made both Ben and I a little teary!

As we near the end of our Kindalin experience, we continue to feel very blessed that George has had such excellent care from day one. We couldn’t have asked for a better centre or more caring, creative and responsible teachers. As working parents we sometimes feel like we are out-sourcing important aspects of child-rearing, and while this is heartbreaking, I am also very grateful for all that you have done for George. Thank you to all the staff for always making the time to chat with us, the best proof that our beautiful boy is liked, understood and valued.

As way of a Christmas gift, George decided to choose some plants for each teacher which he will bring in this week. Each teacher may like to take one home or if preferred, add it to the Kindalin garden. They are succulents and are relatively hardy so no need to be a green thumb!

We are both grateful that you have taken action so quickly in putting measures in place so that Aiden is well looked after when he attends the centre. The many details that you and your staff have gone into such as the rice play dough, cooking his meals separately, replacing the fabric couches and keeping him away from soft toys has gone beyond our expectations. We were anxious on how he would cope at day care however, with these measures being put into place we feel constantly reassured that our precious little boy is in the hands of carers who understand his condition and are doing their best for him.

I am woken each day with "Mummy, is it kindy today?"

I am woken each day with “Mummy, is it Kindy today?”, and to me that speaks volumes about the quality of care at Kindalin. My daughter knows every staff member, and they each have a smile, or even a cuddle as well, at the ready for her. The staff know her well, even though she attends only a small number of days each week, and they enjoy sharing her latest adventures with me. The staff are also very receptive if I have a concern about her development, or just a chat about her general well-being. My daughter always has something exciting to show me, something she’s made to take home, or proudly displayed on the walls. And she talks almost without drawing breath, telling me all that she did at Kindy, and also sings me her new favourite song. But her most favourite thing to bring home is her Portfolio, a beautifully displayed and lovingly put together record of her progress at Kindalin. And it is something I will always treasure. I cannot speak highly enough of Kindalin; the caring staff, the engaging programs, and the warm environment. Thanks again so much for all everyone did for Hannah while she was at Kindy. She still asks after you. I tried telling her she didn’t go now because she was a big girl, but “I AM a big girl! I’m in the Wombats room! With Miss Meagan!

We’ve had both our darlings with them from about 7 and 9 months old and from day one the staff have made us feel so loved, supported and caring of Archie and Lulu. It’s always going to be hard leaving them but Ashlee and her team make it just a little easier at drop off. Plus the days are packed with activities, meals, rest and games, it’s sometimes hard to leave in the afternoons because the kids are having so much fun. Kindalin Frenchs Forest has provided our two children with an exceptional level of care during the past eight years.  The genuine warmth, love and interest in the children provided by the educators reflects the strong, positive culture of the Kindalin organisation. Our entire family, siblings, parents and grandparents, have felt welcome at Kindalin to join in special celebrations and milestones over the years, and have always been greeted and farewelled at the centre by happy smiles of all staff – regardless of which room they have attended.

The centre itself is always immaculately clean with a wide variety of activities, areas and resources all of a high quality.  The wombats room is an amazing space that has been custom built to inspire endless hours of creative play and we are always regaled with happy stories at the end of every day by a very contented child. The centre is unique in that the outside play areas are all-weather so rainy days don’t have to be boring days.

Our eldest child was so well prepared for success at school thanks to the pre-school program and we are confident that our youngest will also transition easily thanks to Kindalin’s robust curriculum, which has provided countless opportunities for individual development and encouraged curiosity, creativity and a growth mindset – skills they will take with them and use for life.

Our girls have always felt special and recognised for their individual interests, and as we prepare to move to school it is with genuine sadness that we say goodbye. We can confidently recommend Kindalin to any parent (and have done so many times) as a wonderful place to see any child grow and learn.

James and Thomas started at Kindalin at the beginning of the year, and I just want to let you know how pleased we are with our choice of childcare! We are so impressed with Kindalin Glenhaven!! James has been going to daycare since he was 9 months old, as did our older children Charlotte and Oliver,and we have always been happy with their daycare centre. We could not fault it, but similarly towards the end we did not rave about it. It was only when you suggested we looked around Kindalin just for a comparison that we realised what we had been missing out on! We love… that we have felt welcome from the first day we walked into Kindalin that the staff at Kindalin are so genuinely happy and enthusiastic. that they are always in the centre of activities with the children and the staff/child ratio seems much higher than we have previously been used to. The atmosphere always feels charged with excitement staff are never just sat chatting together while the children play without guidance that the walls are full of beautiful artwork and creations that are beautifully presented that James came home singing Waltzing Matilda after Australia Day!! That Thomas always comes home with paint under his fingernails the packed programme of activities that you do with the children each month how you want the parents to be involved and informed by having coffee evenings that James talks about the nice new friends he has made and talks about the staff by name that Thomas always has artwork to bring home and we know he’s not just crawling around all day that the staff always remember our childrens names, right from the first week the rooms and outside areas are so beautifully set out that James loves Kindalin food that James does exercises! That you have our child’s best interests at heart and look after them like we do.

Tommy loves attending Kindalin, in fact, it can be hard to get him to leave in the afternoon. This reassures me that we have chosen the best Early Learning Centre for our boys.

Tommy has been attending Kindalin since he was 6.5 months and for the last two months has been in the Emu’s Room. During this time he has developed a strong bond with Miss Malissa. I have been extremely impressed with Malissa’s professionalism, care and willingness to work collaboratively with both Luke and I. Malissa has encouraged Tommy to develop his independence and self agency whilst also helping him to learn to interact positively, through care and respect with his peers and educators.

Malissa has continued to engage Tommy with his learning by creating inquiry based play opportunities focussed on his individual interests. Tommy loves attending Kindalin, in fact, it can be hard to get him to leave in the afternoon. This reassures me that we have chosen the best Early Learning Centre for our boys. In addition to Malissa, the whole team at Glenhaven have been amazing for both Matty and Tommy. I often find myself recommending Kindalin to my friends, colleagues and family, a number of whom have now enrolled their children.

Finally, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your strong leadership in 2017. There has been a number of fantastic improvements and developments this year at Glenhaven and no doubt, this has been a result of your influence and foresight. I have also appreciated your efficiency, experience and willingness to collaborate with families.

Another big thank you to the other teachers too that Milania has a special relationship with, Miss Theresa and Miss Sarah. Of course, not to discredit the other amazing teachers that flow in and out of Koalas room. I know she is fond of them all.

Thanks to Kindalin Kellyville, Elijah is more than ready for kindy next year.

Elijah has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Kindalin. He started in the Emus room with Miss Michelle and graduated this year from the Wombats with Miss Ali. It has been so exciting watching him grow, develop friendships, mature and discover his likes and dislikes. He struggled with speech when he started at Kindalin and now we can hardly keep him quiet. His numeracy and literacy skills have developed and he is now a confident, outgoing 5-year-old who is ready and very excited to begin the school journey next year.

I didn’t realise the importance of daycare in preparing children for school until I saw the positive changes in Elijah. I appreciate and am very thankful for the ongoing nurturing and support that Elijah has been given during his time at Kindalin.

A special thank you to Miss Ali for seeing Elijah through Wombats.

It has been an exciting journey and Elijah is going to miss Kindalin. Thanks to Kindalin Kellyville, Elijah is more than ready for kindy next year.

I can’t even put into words the gratitude I have towards everyone and the centre for this incredible support. It takes some very special people to be able to not only work with children, but also with the parents.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every one of you who have helped both Rosario and I through this wonderful journey. It is absolutely amazing watching the growth in our son, watching how he develops and builds on his confidence. It is your wonderful staff and awesome centre who have brought us here today.

Thank you to Miss Maria for staying so incredibly strong for us and taking time every single week to talk to us, listen to us and place such important focus on our family. You have such wonderful experience and it shows in how you interact with the children. You are so strong and yet so funny and warm, it is no wonder the children all love you! You are one amazing person and every child who is in your care is so incredibly lucky!!

Thank you to Miss Malissa who was and I’m sure still is, Rosario’s favourite teacher. There was and still is something special about your caring nature that draws children towards you. Rosario always felt so safe with you and you always knew how to calm him down. You have a wonderful caring nature, and all the children are very lucky to be around you!

Thank you to Miss Natalie who still to this day holds everything together for us! You are the first person we see, the first person to take Rosario during his meltdown’s and you too have built such an incredible bond with him. He went from a hysterical mess to now happily taking your hand to walk inside. You gave us so much wisdom about your food knowledge and always took such a wonderful interest in our lives.

And it goes without saying, thank you to Miss Melissa the wonderful Kindalin director!! The centre would not be what it is today without you! You are so incredibly strong, hard working, focused, passionate and yet so warm, gentle, approachable and supportive. You always take the time to say hello and goodbye, even when we know how busy you are. You have helped us with Rosario’s journey and turned our little boy into this confident happy child. You hold all the staff together so well, to allow parents like myself to be able to write such thank you’s. Please keep up all your wonderful work because the staff, children and parents are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful director holding everything together!

The standard of care is second to none and I wouldn’t want my children to have attended any other day-care or preschool.

Hi, I just wanted to write an email to say thank you for the wonderful care that Kindalin provides for my son. He attends the Kellyville Ridge centre and my daughter was also there from the time it opened in 2009 till the time she started primary school in 2014. The staff are always so friendly and happy and they provide the best learning environment and activities that allow the children to develop and grow at their own individual pace. The standard of care is second to none and I wouldn’t want my children to have attended any other day-care or preschool. The events that are organised for the children and parents are amazing. I have just returned from a Mother’s Day morning tea at the centre in the Wombat’s room with Miss Belynda and her staff. They are all very highly organised and have a fantastic, caring attitude towards the children, who are so happy to be there! The ‘Preschool Program’ that the centre offers, is great and I know, that as a primary school teacher myself, my son is being well prepared for his journey into primary school next year.

Courtney loves Kindalin and I know that I am leaving her with well trained and caring staff. Kindalin do a fantastic job. I wouldn’t want my kids to go anywhere else. My child has been at the centre since 3 months of age, she has always loved the centre the teachers and has developed very well. She is always happy to go and I feel I can talk candidly with the teachers who I trust to care for my child about all issues and things involving my child, any problems or areas I need to be made aware of are easily discussed. The centre is modern, up to date equipment and services, large spacious and clean. The teachers are friendly and welcoming and make it easy for me to drop my child off and go to work happy in the knowledge she is being looked after and cared for appropriately.
